Sports development possibilities will be discussed at Council under the Head of Bashkiria
Ufa will host a Council on physical culture and sports development under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on December 15.
The Minister of Sports of Bashkiria, Ruslan Khabibov, said that legends of national sports and representatives of sports departments from the CIS countries would come to the republic’s capital for the council. Among them is President of the Russian Wrestling Federation Mikhail Mamiashvili, two-time Olympic champions in saber fencing Sofia Velikaya and Sofia Pozdnyakova, and other eminent sports representatives.
The event participants will sum up the sports results of the outgoing year and discuss the prospects for the development of physical culture and sports.
