

Yesterday the Russian karate championship ended in Moscow, in which athletes from 33 regions of Russia took part. Bashkortostan was represented at the competitions by a team of six athletes and coaches: Maxim Bolshakov and Dmitry Moshnin.
As a result of the tournaments, our team’s bank was replenished with 5 medals:
1st place Kata - Sofia Seryogina (M.Yu. Bolshakov);
2nd place Kumite - Yulia Gizatullina, Sofia Seregina (M.Yu. Bolshakov);
3rd place in Kumite - Yaroslav Voloshinskiy (M.Yu. Bolshakov), Valeria Mityushkina (D.F. Moshnin).
Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria reported that Yulia Gizatullina joined the main team of the Russian women's sports team. Yulia moved to this age category this year, earlier she successfully competed at all-Russian and inter-regional youth competitions in Kyokushin.
