The World Chessboxing Championship was held in Antalya. Tigran Mukhutdinov was responsible for the chess training of athletes. The Russian team has 10 medals, of which 4 are gold.
As previously reported by the Bashinform News Agency, a resident of the Gafury district Ilsur Iskhakov won the world chessboxing champion title. Ilsur Iskhakov joined the Russian national team and took part in the world chessboxing championship in Turkey. His opponent was a two-time champion from France, who had not suffered a single defeat before.
Recall that chessboxing is a combined sport where athletes fight both on the chessboard and in the boxing ring.
