Short-track Russian Cup stage started in Ufa
The III stage of the short-track Russian Cup started in Ufa today, November 25. The strongest athletes from all over Russia gathered in the capital of Bashkiria. The Olympic champion from Ufa Semen Elistratov, after whom the short-track center is named, will also compete with them.
The Minister of Sports of Bashkiria Ruslan Khabibov addressed them with a welcoming speech. He said that Bashkiria is a sports region in which all conditions are created for the development of all sports. At the same time, the minister noted that special attention is paid to the short-track in the republic. Evidence of this is the built short-track center.
It is a great honor for Bashkiria to host competitions of this level. The Republic of Bashkortostan holds a huge number of both international and Russian competitions. The short-track Russian Cup stage is one of the most important, Ruslan Khabibov emphasized.
Competitions will be held until November 27 in the short-track center.
