Bashkiria topped federal sports project participant’s rating

The Republic of Bashkortostan topped the rating of participants in the project “WE ARE FOR SPORT!" in terms of the number of training sessions and participants involved in the project, reports by the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria. The total number of regional residents who took part in the project is 4,804 people. A total of 172 training sessions were held in running, walking, swimming, cycling, and roller skiing.

The implementation of the project, developed in pursuance of the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was carried out by the Russian sports society Spartak. The events are held as part of the federal project "Sport is the norm of life" of the national project "Demography" at the expense of a grant from the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
