

The Ministry of Sports of Russia has completed the selection of projects within the framework of the "Business Sprint" federal project. The competition was won by three Ufa programs to construct facilities for the development of football, basketball, volleyball, and badminton.
Mayor of Ufa Ratmir Mavliev said that subsidies from the federal budget would be allocated for these projects. The total investment will be about 600 million, of which more than 470 million rubles is the grant amount.
“Until the end of 2022, it is planned to conclude concession agreements with investors. We will get new sports facilities by the 450th anniversary of the city,” the Ufa mayor shared the news.
We add that another project from Bashkiria was included in the list of winners. A new sports center will be built under the same program in Neftekamsk.
