Bashkiria badminton players became Russian champions for fifth time

Athletes from Ufa Rodion Alimov and Alina Davletova became five-time badminton champions of Russia in mixed doubles, the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria reported.

The Russian badminton championship was held at the Borisoglebsky sports complex in Ramenskoye, 193 of the strongest athletes from 19 regions of Russia took part in it.

Rodion Alimov and Alina Davletova won the championship title in mixed doubles, for the fifth year in a row.

Rodion Alimov and Konstantin Abramov won the bronze medal in men's doubles. Alina Davletova and Evgenia Kosetskaya became the winners in the women's doubles.

“According to the results of this year, Rodion and Alina in the mixed doubles were able to become winners in all three major Russian tournaments: the Russian Championship, the Russian Cup, and the Spartakiad of the Strongest,” the Bashkiria Ministry of Sports noted.
