46 athletes from Bashkiria will take part in Paralympic Games in Sochi

Sochi will host the Paralympic Games “We are Together. Sport" from October 2 to 9 2022. The program includes nine sports: athletics, swimming, table tennis, archery, para-taekwondo, wheelchair fencing, football for people with cerebral palsy, and draughts and chess. More than 1,800 people will take part in the competition, of which 170 are representatives of foreign countries (Belarus, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Mali, Eritrea, Germany) and more than 1,000 are athletes from 78 regions of the Russian Federation. Federation.

The national teams of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation included the strongest athletes in the country and the world. Among them are the winners and prize-winners of the Paralympic Games in Tokyo from the Republic of Bashkortostan: 2-time swimming champions Bogdan Mozgovoy and Andrey Nikolaev, champion Ilnur Garipov, bronze medalists Artur Sayfutdinov and Adelina Razetdinova. Athletes Elena Pautova, and Anna Kulinich-Sorokina, bronze medalist in wheelchair fencing Nikita Nagaev will go to Sochi. In total, 46 athletes will represent the republic in the national team.
