Bashkir national summer biathlon team won gold and silver at Russian Championship
In Ufa, the Junior Championship Summer Biathlon of Russia (19-21 years old) has ended.
On the last day of the competition, cross-sprints were held for 6 km among boys and 4.5 km among girls. The best result among the Bashkir biathletes was shown by Rodion Travnikov, the athlete who took 5th place.
According to the results of the championship, the team of Bashkiria has one gold medal in the roller relay race among juniors and one silver medal in the roller race among them.
“The guys showed character. For the third year in a row, the national team of our republic wins the relay race - this is an excellent result, but we certainly have something to work on,” commented the performance of the Bashkir athletes, the coach of the national biathlon team Viktor Nikitin.
