Ufa native Anton Babikov won pursuit at CIS Summer Biathlon Cup stage in Belarus

Anton Babikov from Ufa became the winner of the men's pursuit at the second stage of the CIS Summer Biathlon Cup in Raubichi (Belarus).

The athlete covered the distance of 12.5 km with four firing lines in 34 minutes 22.4 seconds without any misses. The second place went to Russian Kirill Bazhin (10.8 seconds back; 2 misses), the third was the representative of Belarus Anton Smolsky (+35.0; 3).

The stage of the CIS Summer Biathlon Cup in Raubichi will end on September 18 with two mass starts. Russian and Belarusian biathletes compete at the tournament, RIA Novosti reports.
