Bashkiria hang gliding team returned with victory from Russian championship

The hang gliding team from our republic showed good results at the Russian Championship. Competitions were held in the Stavropol Territory. Athletes from 13 regions of the country took part in them.

According to the results of the 8-day competition, the national team of our republic took bronze in the overall standings, losing to teams from Moscow and the Moscow region. In the sports class, the Bashkir pilots managed to become second.

In the individual competition, the team captain, master of sports of international class Azat Masalimov showed an excellent result. He won the championship silver. Another member of the team, Ruslan Shayakhmetov, took 10th place in the standings out of 36 possible.
