Bashkiria athletes won first stage of CIS Biathlon Cup
The first stage of the CIS Biathlon Cup ended in Sochi. Athletes from Bashkortostan showed brilliant results. Anton Babikov won two gold medals in the sprint and mass start. Eduard Latypov was second in the sprint and third in the pursuit. On August 28, the Minister of Sports of Bashkiria Ruslan Khabibov congratulated the Bashkir biathletes on his Telegram channel.
“Congratulations to the athletes, their coaches, and all biathlon fans on this success. Since Thursday, the guys have been proving to us that Russia is a sports country, and Bashkortostan is a region of great victories, ”the Minister posted.
