Anton Babikov won the sprint race of Sochi CIS Summer Biathlon Cup

The CIS Summer Biathlon Cup started today in Sochi and will last until August 28.

Bashkir biathlete Anton Babikov won the sprint race. He covered the distance of 10 km in 23 minutes and 44.4 seconds, without allowing a single miss on the firing lines.

Second place was taken by another representative of Bashkiria, medalist of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games Eduard Latypov, 28.9 seconds behind the winner.

Alexey Vagin rounded out the top three with one misfire in the prone shooting.
