

A judoka from Bashkiria Sofia Belash won a silver medal and became a prize-winner at the 7th International Sports Games "Children of Asia".
Sofia Belash defeated her rival from Kazakhstan in the semi-finals of the games. In the final, she fought with a judoka from Uzbekistan, who turned out to be stronger than the Bashkir athlete.
In the fight for bronze medals, Anastasia Belash and Kirill Shchelkunov also lost to their rivals, but entered the top five of the strongest Games "Children of Asia-2022".
Recall that the VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" are taking place in Vladivostok. More than 1,300 young athletes aged 13 to 16 from the CIS countries and regions of Russia take part in them.
Athletes from Bashkiria compete in boxing, judo and badminton.
In addition, the Children of Asia games are held every four years. They were first organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the modern Olympic Movement in 1996 at the initiative of the first President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Mikhail Nikolaev.
