On July 31, X-WATERS Ufa took place for the third time - a large-scale swim under two bridges of the Belaya River with a finish at the foot of the observation deck.
"This year, swimmers from 55 cities of Russia took part in the X-Waters swim. Moreover, most of the participants arrived at the event, not from Ufa. Many swimmers again set personal records," said Vladislav Litvinchuk, director of the event. "Registration for the fourth X-Waters will open soon, we are expecting that even more participants will come to the Belaya swim next year."
On the swim in the heart of the capital, which brought together amateurs and professionals, the participants successfully covered the distances of 2 km, 3.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km. Various locations were chosen for a comfortable start for the participants: at 2 km - the Solnechny beach, at 3.5 km - the beach along Pugachev street, at 5 km - the beach near the complex "Pristan", at 10 km - the confluence of the Belaya and Ufimka rivers.
