"1000 Cyclists Day" took place in Salavat
Salavat hosted the republican bike ride "1000 Cyclists Day". The event was organized by the regional youth public organization "Union of Cyclists of the Republic of Bashkortostan" with the support of the city administration.
According to preliminary estimates given by the Salavat City Hall, the number of participants has significantly exceeded 500 people (as many online applications for participation have been received). The route of the bike column passed through the central streets of the city. Activists of the Union of Cyclists from Meleuz, Kumertau, Ishimbay and Ufa came to participate in the bike ride. Applications were also submitted by internally displaced persons from the DPR and LPR, who are now in Salavat.
Earlier, Bashinform reported about how cycling enthusiasts were preparing for the “1000 Cyclists Day” in Ufa and the goals for the development of cycling infrastructure in Bashkiria, which they intend to achieve.
