Salavat Yulaev invites Ufa residents to "Green Heart Day"
On July 7, the Salavat Yulaev hockey club will hold a charity event "Green Heart Day", the press service of the Bashkir team reported.
The event will be held in support of little Katya Aksenova, who needs a blood component update every month, and other people who need a transfusion.
A mobile republican blood transfusion station will operate in the Ufa-Arena parking lot from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm. The site will be equipped with a recreation area for donors. In addition, from 5.00 to 7.00 pm an autograph session of Rodion Amirov will take place in the "Salavat Yulaev" club shop.
Recall that the 20-year-old forward of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the player of the Yulaev team is struggling with cancer. In February, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
