Ufa to host international wrestling tournament

From 15 to 17 June 2022, the capital of Bashkiria will host the UWW Grappling Open International Wrestling Tournament for the BAGSU Cup under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Sports RB.

The solemn opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on June 16 at 11.00 am. On June 17, final fights will be held, as well as an exhibition fight with the participation of two-time winner of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship, world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu Jeffrey Monson and European champion in grappling Dinar Akmurzin.

The competitions will be held at the Dynamo Sports Complex. Details about participation can be found on the official website of the Republican Ministry of Sports.
