Alsu Minazova took 1st place in individual races of Russian Cup in rowing slalom

The representative of Bashkiria Alsu Minazova took 1st place in the individual races of the Russian Cup in rowing slalom in the city of Okulovka, Novgorod region. Good news on Friday evening was announced by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.

“Our Alsu Minazova in the individual races of the Russian Cup in rowing slalom took 1st place in all two classes K1 (kayak) and C1 (canoe) and became the holder of the Russian Cup! An athlete from Bashkortostan became the best among 256 participants in competitions from more than 20 regions of the country,” Radiy Khabirov posted on his Vkontakte page and added that Alsu won the race in two classes at once for the first time.

“It is so gratifying when our athletes grow professionally and achieve new victories, set a healthy example for hundreds of boys and girls. Another trainee of our sports school, Daria Shaydurova, took first place in the Russian Championship under 24 years old. Congratulations on the well-deserved victory Alsu, Daria and their coaches!”, he expressed words of admiration.

Radiy Khabirov also noted that the builders had already begun construction of the Canoe Slalom Center in Ufa.

It is worth noting that Alsu Minazova is the ambassador of the Canoe Slalom Center under construction in Ufa, which is included in the list of facilities to be built by the 450th anniversary of the capital.
