On April 25, US President Joe Biden received the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Club, which won the Stanley Cup in 2020 and 2021, at the White House on April 25.

As part of the team, three Russian players arrived at the official reception - a trainee of the Ufa club Salavat Yulaev, goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky, defender Mikhail Sergachev and forward Nikita Kucherov, Championat reports.
