Olympic champion Adelina Zagidullina spoke about future Fencing Center in Ufa

Olympic champion, two-time world and European champion Adelina Zagidullina spoke about what the Fencing Center in Ufa will look like.

Recall that in 2024 a fencing center will appear in the capital of Bashkiria. Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the decision to build the Fencing Center was made by the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, after the successful performance of foil fencers from Ufa at the Tokyo Olympics. Then Adelina Zagidullina won a gold medal, and Timur Safin a silver one.

“A week ago, the technical opening of the Gymnastics Center took place in Ufa, which brought together athletes, children, coaches and all those who have been waiting for this event for a very long time. I also imagine the day when the Fencing Center in Ufa will open its doors,” the athlete posted on her account.

The fencing center, which will be built for the anniversary of the Bashkir capital in 2024, will include a specialized fencing hall, a multi-purpose and gym hall, as well as a hall for individual lessons.

“The center will provide a lot of opportunities for high-quality training and competitions. I hope that the medal count of Bashkir fencers will be replenished,” Olympic champion from Ufa Adelina Zagidulina said.
