Semen Elistratov from Ufa donated his bronze Olympic medals to Sports Museum

Tatyana Aksyutina

Short track Olympic champion Semen Elistratov recently handed over the bronze medals he won at the 2018 and 2022 Olympic Games to the State Sports Museum, TASS reports. The athlete believes that young visitors to the museum, having seen his awards, will also want to be engaged in the short track. Earlier, the athlete had already donated his 2014 Olympic gold medal to the museum. In March, during a meeting of Olympians with the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, Elistratov noted that athletes, by their example, were able to distract children from computers and instill an interest in sports in them.
