Final stage of Russian Cup and Russian Biathlon Championship will be held in Ufa

Ufa will host the final stage of the Russian Cup and the Russian Biathlon Championship from March 11 to March 17. The strongest biathletes from 30 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus will take part in the competition.

 “The decision on the participation of Belarusian athletes in the Russian Cup and Championship competitions was made by mutual agreement with the chairman of the Belarusian Biathlon Federation Andrian Alekseevich Tsybulsky. We do not seek confrontation with anyone, we proceed solely from the interests of the athletes of our countries. The participation of Belarusian biathletes will certainly raise the level of competitions that will be held in Ufa and Tyumen,” Viktor Maygurov, President of the RBU commented.

The competition will include six races for men and women - sprints (Russian Cup final), pursuit races, and large mass starts (all within the Russian championship).

Alexander Loginov, Eduard Latypov, Maxim Tsvetkov, Anton Babikov, Karim Khalili, Kristina Reztsova, Larisa Kuklina, and other strongest biathletes from Russia and the Republic of Belarus will take part in it.

11.00 - 10 km sprint - men

14.00 - sprint 7.5 km - women

March 14th

11.00 - 12.5 km pursuit - men

13.30 - 10 km pursuit - women

March 16

11.00 - mass start-large 15 km - men

13.30 - mass start-large 12 km - women
