Ufa welcomed Belarusian biathletes with bread and salt
On March 9, a plane with a delegation from Belarus landed at the Ufa airport. Belarusian athletes arrived in the capital of Bashkiria to participate in the final stage of the Russian Cup and the Russian Biathlon Championship.
The guests were greeted with bread and salt by the head of the department of physical culture and mass work, sports tourism and the development of adaptive sports Dmitry Gladkikh, the chairman of the regional public organization "Belarusians of Bashkortostan" Raisa Zyuzko, the chief specialist of the branch of the State Budgetary Institution of the House of Friendship of Peoples RB Zhanna Khalizova, and others.
The bronze medalist of the Biathlon World Cup stage Dmitry Lazovsky admitted that he was in Bashkortostan for the first time and the main task for him would be to show high-quality biathlon.
Recall that the competitions of the final ninth stage of the Russian Cup and the Russian Biathlon Championship will be held from March 10 to 17 at the Biathlon sports complex.
