Federal funding for sports and physical education has increased 14 times in Bashkiria over past three years

The volume of financing of the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria from the federal budget over the past three years has grown from 200 million to 2 billion 852 million rubles. In particular, the republic receives these funds to construct sports facilities. This was announced at an expanded meeting of the collegium of the ministry by the Minister of Sports, Ruslan Khabibov.

In 2020, Bashkiria received 419 million rubles from the center; in 2021 - 423.6 million, in 2022 - 935.7 million rubles.

"These funds are used to build the most important and necessary sports facilities. These are the Wrestling Center, the rowing slalom center, the creation of conditions for the sports grounds", Minister of Sports Ruslan Khabibov explained.

According to the Minister, the Artistic Gymnastics Center will soon be commissioned in Ufa, and an indoor football arena will be opened by June 12, where a children's tournament will be held.

Also, the republican budget annually increases the amount of funding for sports and physical culture. If in 2020 the regional treasury allocated 2.6 billion rubles for the Ministry of Sports and subordinate institutions, then in 2022 - 4.4 billion rubles.
