Solemn meeting with winners and participants of Winter Olympic Games in Beijing will be held in Ufa

On February 27 at 11.20 am a solemn meeting with the winners and participants of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games 2022 will take place in the capital of Bashkortostan, on the square in front of the Ufa Arena (from Lenin Street). According to the XXIV Winter Olympic Games results, athletes from Bashkortostan won four bronze medals.

 14 athletes represented the republic as part of the Russian national team, including the 2014 Olympic champion in the relay and the bronze medalist of the 2018 and 2022 Olympic Games at a distance of 1500 m, short tracker Semen Yelistratov, the bronze medalist of the 2022 Olympic Games, biathlete Eduard Latypov, Olympic champion in 2014, bronze medalist of the 2010 Olympic Games, skeleton racer Alexander Tretyakov and two bobsledders (Yuliya Belomestnykh, Rostislav Gaytyukevich).

 Also, Ufa and the republic were represented by seven hockey players of HC Agidel (Korzhakova Veronika, Pechnikova Maria, Sorokina Maria, Sosina Olga, Shibanova Anna, Batalova Maria, and Luchnikova Polina), two hockey players of HC Salavat Yulaev (Alexander Kadeikin, Shakir Mukhamadullin).

Ufa residents and guests of the capital will see a large-scale cultural, sports, and entertainment program, which includes a quiz, the Elbrus Nigmatullin show - a four-time winner of the tournament "The Strongest Man of Russia", "Ice Battle" with the participation of hockey players, figure skaters, short trackers. Visitors will also be able to get autographs of Olympic medalists and participants in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
