200 days left before FIVB Volleyball World Championship 2022 in Ufa
Precisely 200 days left before the start of the first men's volleyball world championship in the history of Russia. One of the stages will be held in the capital of Bashkiria at the Ufa Arena site. The competition kicks off in ten Russian cities on August 26 and will last until September 11.
The round date is fixed by countdown clocks installed in all host cities, including Manezhnaya Square in Moscow. In Ufa, the clock is installed on the square of the main sports arena of the republic.
"There are only 200 days before the opening match of the World Cup. Preparations for the tournament are in full swing, " Roman Stanislavov, CEO of the Organizing Committee of the FIVB Volleyball World Championship 2022, said. "Now the Organizing Committee is carrying out inspection visits to all host cities and to the sports facilities that will host the tournament – arenas and training bases, test events are being held."
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the volunteer program of the World Cup would launch on February 21.
