Anastasia Smirnova won bronze in mogul at Beijing Olympics
Russian freestyle skier Anastasia Smirnova won the bronze medal in mogul at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The 19-year-old athlete scored 77.72 points for her performance.
Anastasia Smirnova is a four-time Russian champion. She also has the gold of the 2021 World Championship in double mogul.
Australian Jakara Anthony won gold. American Jelyn Kauf became the silver medalist, according to championat.com.
Smirnova brought the Russian team the fifth medal at the Beijing Games. Earlier, the agency reported that skier Alexander Bolshunov won gold in the skiathlon, and Denis Spitsov and Natalya Nepryaeva became silver medalists in the men's and women's skiathlon. In addition, Russian biathletes won bronze medals in the mixed relay.
