Volunteer program of 2022 Volleyball World Championship starts in Ufa in February

On February 21, the volunteer program of the FIVB Volleyball World Championship 2022 will start in ten Russian cities, including Ufa. The competitions will be held from August 26 to September 11.

"More than 3,500 volunteers in 18 functional areas will take part in the preparation of the tournament events - from working with visitors and holding ceremonies to providing services for the media and linguistic services," the organizers specified.

Volunteers of the 25th World Volleyball Team are selected according to the following criteria: at the time of the start of the events, the candidate must be 18 years old, have a command of English, and can work in a team.

The main training of volunteers will begin in June-July. All participants will receive experience in organizing an international sporting event, a set of equipment, memorable souvenirs, and they will also have access to free public transport in the host city.

In order to become part of the World Cup volunteer team, starting from February 21, 2022, you will need to sign in an application in a special section on the Organizing Committee website - volley2022.ru/volunteers.

The FIVB Volleyball World Championship 2022 will be held from August 26 to September 11, 2022, in 10 cities of the country: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk.

24 national teams became participants of the championship: VFV team, Poland, Tunisia, Cameroon, Italy, Slovenia, Brazil, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Canada, France, USA, Serbia, Cuba, Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Bulgaria, China, Japan, Iran.

The tournament format includes two group stages and the Final Six in Moscow, which will determine the new world champion.
