Bashkiria will receive 100 million rubles for smart sports grounds

Bashkiria will receive 100 million rubles from the federal budget in the next three years. This is stated in the order of the country's government, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The first tranche of 20 million rubles will be received this year, 20 million in 2023, and 60 million rubles in 2024. The region should spend these funds on constructing modular halls and smart sports grounds.

"These will be modern, well-equipped sports venues with Internet access so that each visitor can build an individual workout and monitor the correctness of the exercises. The federal government said in the decree that such infrastructure would help attract citizens to sports and a healthy lifestyle. The work is carried out as part of the new federal project "Business Sprint", which is included in the state program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports."

In total, the federal budget will allocate 9 billion rubles to 84 regions of the country.

"The health and well-being of people are one of the national development goals set by the President. To achieve it, it is important that every resident has the opportunity to train close to their home," Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting on January 27.
