Biathlete Anton Babikov won a silver medal at the European Championships in Germany. The Bashkir athlete finished second in the men's individual 20 km race, without a single miss at four shooting ranges. European Championship gold went to Norwegian biathlete Sverra Dalen Aspenes, who was 11 seconds ahead of Babikov. Germany's Matthias Dorfer finished third.
