

The final composition of the Russian national hockey team for the Beijing Olympics has been published. The final list did not include a single player from the Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev. Forward Alexander Kadeikin is listed among the reserve hockey players.
The composition of the Russian Olympic team:
Goalkeepers: Ivan Fedotov, Alexander Samonov, Timur Bilyalov.
Defenders: Egor Yakovlev, Alexander Nikishin, Damir Sharipzyanov, Sergei Telegin, Nikita Nesterov, Artem Minulin, Vyacheslav Voinov, Alexander Yelesin.
Forwards: Sergey Andronov, Artem Anisimov, Dmitry Voronkov, Mikhail Grigorenko, Arseniy Gritsyuk, Nikita Gusev, Pavel Karnaukhov, Artur Kayumov, Kirill Marchenko, Sergey Plotnikov, Kirill Semenov, Anton Slepyshev, Andrey Chibisov, Vadim Shipachev.
In addition to the 25 players included in the main application, six reserve hockey players will go to Beijing: goalkeeper Dmitry Shugaev, defender Semen Chistyakov and forwards Alexander Kadeikin, Andrey Kuzmenko, Vladimir Tkachev, Stanislav Galiev.

February 9, 1:40 pm Russia - Switzerland;
February 11, 9:10 am Denmark - Russia;
February 12, 6:10 pm Russia - Czech Republic.
