HC Salavat Yulaev - new cases of coronavirus infection
Business Online news outlet reports that 26 hockey players have tested positive for coronavirus at the Salavat Yulaev hockey club.
Three days earlier, there were nine cases of infection in the Salavat Yulaev. Because of this, the KHL canceled the match between Salavat Yulaev and Jokerit, which was supposed to take place on January 8 in Helsinki.
On January 4, three players in the Ufa team had the coronavirus, and on January 5, Salavat Yulaev hosted Dinamo Riga (6: 4). Today, the KHL canceled three Dinamo matches after the coronavirus was detected in 14 team players.
An outbreak of coronavirus was also recorded in CSKA. The day before, the KHL announced that it could suspend the championship. The decision on this issue will be made next week.
