

The Snowboard World Cup has ended at the Bannoe ski center in the Abzelilovsky district of Bashkiria. Athletes from 20 countries of the world competed for the medals of the tournament for two days.
On the first day of the competition, the final in the parallel giant slalom event was held. The Russian national team won two awards: gold went to Sofia Nadyrshina, bronze to Andrey Sobolev. Athletes from Bashkiria Vsevolod Martynov and Elizaveta Salikhova took 28th and 29th places, the Ministry of Sports RB press service reported.
On the second day in the parallel slalom event, a snowboarder from Switzerland Julie Tsogg, climbed to the first step of the podium. After the awarding ceremony, the winner noted that here, at Bannoe, she always scored the best points in the parallel slalom event, although she liked giant slalom more.
The second place went to Mickey Tsubaki from Japan. Russian Anastasia Kurochkina won bronze and brought the third medal to the Russian national team.
The best on the second day of competition among men was Andreas Prommeger from Austria. Lee Sang-Ho from Korea took second place, and the Austrian Arvid Auner was the third.
