On Saturday, November 27, in the capital of Bashkiria, the second European Judo Mixed Team Championship starts in the history of Russia.
"The strongest athletes from Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Georgia, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Israel, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Russia will come to this championship in Ufa. The competition will take place in one of our most modern sports complexes - the Rima Batalova Sports Training Center", the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov posted.
The first participants in international competitions have already been welcomed at the Ufa airport. According to the Head of the Region, the championship will be held in strict observance of all the norms of Rospotrebnadzor regarding COVID-19.
"I am grateful to the President of the European Judo Union Sergei Soloveichik for the fact that this tournament will be held in Bashkortostan. This is a very significant event for us - it is important to hold world competitions, competitions of various levels so that our teenagers go to gyms so that they have a goal," the Head of the Republic said.
