Sergey Zubov has been appointed the new head coach of the Russian youth hockey team. Oleg Bratash was transferred to the position of a senior coach, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation press service reports.
On December 1, the team will gather at the training camp in Novogorsk. On December 15, the youth team will fly to the Canadian Red Deer via Helsinki. From December 16 to December 25, it will continue the training process in Canada and hold two control matches. The World Youth Championship will be held from December 26 to January 5.
Note that the expanded squad includes two players of HC Salavat Yulaev - striker Alexander Pashin and defender Shakir Mukhamadullin.
