Weightlifter from Bashkiria won bronze medal of Russian Junior Championship

The Russian Weightlifting Junior Championship has ended in the city of Grozny. Bashkir athlete Evgeny Semenov, representing the Kumertau school and training coached by Alexander Dudaev, won the bronze medal of the competition. He climbed to the third step of the podium in the weight category 109+ kg among boys aged 15-18. Semenov received the award after a snatch of 132 kg.

The republican Ministry of Sports noted that Bashkir weightlifters won 6 medals of various denominations at the competition.
