Ufa Agidel became three-time WHL Cup winner

The Ufa women's hockey team "Agidel" became a three-time winner of the WHL Cup. In the third final match, Denis Afinogenov's trainees defeated the Chinese club KRS Vanke Rays.

The main playing time ended with an equal score - 2: 2. Agidel was shorthanded and survived. The shootout was decisive, where the Ufa players turned out to be stronger.

The Agidel forward Olga Sosina was recognized as the best WHL playoff series player, the coach of the Bashkir team Denis Afinogenov - as the best coach.

"Thanks to the coaching staff, we have prepared the team well. We were constantly in touch. We are one strong unit; that is why we win", Afinogenov said.
