Native of Tuimazy and BSPU student won bronze medal at Paralympics in Tokyo
Adelina Razetdinova, a 21-year-old native of the city of Tuymazy and a student at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University, became the bronze medalist of the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo. The Russian woman finished third at a distance of 100 meters breaststroke in the SB8 category (for persons with musculoskeletal disorders).
A swimmer from Ireland, Ellen Keane (1.19.93), climbed to the first step of the podium, Sophie Pascoe, an athlete from New Zealand (+0.39 sec), climbed to the second. Adelina Razetdinova's medal became the 16th medal for the Russian Paralympic team.
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the swimmer from Salavat Andrey Nikolaev won a silver medal at a distance of 100 meters in freestyle.
Adelina Razetdinova is a student of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. She entered the psychologist and mediator program after graduating from the BSPU college which she graduated from as a physical education teacher.
