20-year-old Bashkir swimmer Andrey Nikolaev won a silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games. The resident of the city of Salavat conquered a distance of 100 meters freestyle. It took him 57.69 seconds. Nikolaev lost to Australian swimmer Ben Popham. The representative of Greece, Dimostenis Mikhalentsakis, rose to the third step of the podium.
