Bashkir fencers lost to rivals at playoff stage of Paralympics in Tokyo

Bashkir wheelchair fencers Albert Kamalov and Nikita Nagaev performed in the quarterfinals of the Paralympics in Tokyo. The first saber fencer, representing the republic, met in the elimination duels with the Chinese Yanke Feng and lost to him with a score of 6:15.

The second Bashkir saber fencer Nikita Nagaev let the Ukrainian Artem Manko go ahead, also losing with a score of 6:15.

Note that the Russian Paralympic team played unsuccessfully in the playoffs, losing to all rivals.

In wheelchair fencing, the Russians performed unsuccessfully in the playoffs, losing to rivals in the 1/16 and quarterfinals.
