Russian women won gold and silver medals in freestyle wrestling at World Cup in Ufa
On the fourth day of the freestyle wrestling competition of the Junior World Championships in Ufa, the Russian team won two medals - "gold" and "silver".
In the category up to 59 kg, Anastasia Sidelnikova became the best, having defeated the Belarusian athlete Arina Martynova in the final bout. The third place in this category went to the representatives of Mongolia Munkhgerel Munkhbat and India - Sito Sito.
Russian Elizaveta Petlyakova lost in the final to American Amit Elot and became the silver medalist of the World Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championship.
In the category up to 50 kg, athlete Emily Shilson won, in the category up to 55 kg - Belarusian Alesya Getmanova, in the category up to 76 kg - Kylie Welker from the USA.
On August 20, the Greco-Roman wrestling competition of the Junior World Championships will start at the Ufa-Arena.
