Qualifying rounds, Lalovic’s visit to Ufa - Sports Center and Museum of Archeology

On August 16, the qualifying rounds of the Junior World Wrestling Championships in Olympic sports: freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling started at the Ufa-Arena. They were visited by the President of the United Wrestling World, Nenad Lalovic, and the President of the Russian Wrestling Federation, Mikhail Mamiashvili.

The guests assessed the venue of the world championships, discussed current issues, and watched several bouts. After that, accompanied by the Minister of Sports of Bashkiria Ruslan Khabibov, the delegation visited the Rima Batalova Sports Training Center, where training in 49 sports, including for people with disabilities, is held.

Then Lalovic and Mamiashvili went to the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, got acquainted with the repository of archaeological, ethnographic, and anthropological collections collected during scientific expeditions around the republic.
