Bashkiria athletes won three more medals at Junior World Grappling Championships

On the second competitive day of the Junior World Wrestling Championships, Bashkir athletes won three medals.
On August 14, cadets and juniors competed in grappling-gi. This day was again crowned with success for the Murzabaev sisters: 18-year-old Adelina, competing in the weight category of 53 kg, defeated the athlete from Kazakhstan Aruzkhan Yelikbaeva in the final, her sister, 16-year-old Karina, became the winner in her weight category of 43 kg. It is noteworthy that Karina becomes a gold medalist for the second day in a row without going out on the mat - this is due to the fact that there were no applications for competitions in grappling and grappling-gi in this weight category. The rivals of the Bashkir athlete, 18-year-old Valeria Davydova, turned out to be slightly stronger. She became the bronze medalist, losing to the Spanish Marina Farrai Garcia and the Russian Maria Koblova.
The non-Olympic types of wrestling of the junior world championship in Ufa are over. From August 16 to 18, freestyle wrestling competitions will be held, from 18 to 20 - women's wrestling competitions, and from 20 to 22 - Greco-Roman wrestling.
Bashkortostan in Greco-Roman wrestling will be represented by Said-Khusein Bakaev (63 kg) and Adlan Amriev (87 kg).
