Foil player Adelina Zagidullina reached finals of 2020 Olympics as part of national team
The Bashkir foil fencer Adelina Zagidullina made her way to the final of the team tournament at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo. In the semifinals, Inna Deriglazova, Adelina Zagidullina, Larisa Korobeinikova, and Marta Martyanova defeated the US team with a score of 45:42.
In the final of the tournament, the Russian four will meet with the French team. The final is scheduled to start at 15.55 Ufa time.
Adelina Zagidullina - two-time world champion (2016, 2019) and Europe (also 2016, 2019) in the team championship, winner and bronze medalist of the 1st European Games. Honored Master of Sports of Russia. The first coach is Olga Shagaeva. Adelina was selected for the Olympic Games, having passed all stages of selection.
