Russian taekwondo fighter Vladislav Larin brought our country seventh gold at the Tokyo Olympics. The athlete won three victories in a row with a total score of 70: 9: in the decisive match, he defeated Dejan Georgievski from North Macedonia with a score of 15: 9.
According to the Russian Olympic Committee, all Taekwondo fighters from the ROC team won Olympic medals, thus winning the overall standings of the Olympic tournament in Tokyo. Earlier, the champion was Maxim Khramtsov (category up to 80 kg), silver went to Tatiana Minina (up to 57 kg), bronze was won by Mikhail Artamonov (up to 58 kg).
