Tamara Tansykkuzhina won silver medal at World International Draughts Championship

On July 14, the World Women's International Draughts Championship ended in Estonia. It was attended by 16 athletes from 9 countries from four continents, including Tamara Tansykkuzhina and Aigul Idrisova from the Ufa Draughts Club "Bashkortostan". The rivals have played 15 games since June 28 to determine the best in the world. Matryona Nogovitsyna from the Republic of Sakha won early for the round.

The last game of the World Draughts Championship was the duel between Tamara Tansykkuzhina and Daria Fedorovich. The Ufa player realized her chance to win on the last moves, won, and reached second place, having beaten Victoria Motrichko from Ukraine, as athletes say, hit the tape. The Ukrainian was the third, Natalia Sadovska from Poland was the fourth. Aigul Idrisova took the ninth position.
