The goalkeeper of the Tampa Bay Lightning and a trainee of the hockey club Salavat Yulaev Andrei Vasilevsky promised the fans to do everything to bring the Stanley Cup to Ufa.

“Last year my parents flew over to me and we had a good time in Tampa with the Stanley Cup. And this year - I just do not know what the rules are, whether they will be allowed to take the cup out of the state, from America. Will it be allowed to bring it to Russia? ” Andrei Vasilevsky, the two-time winner of the main NHL trophy, said on Match TV. “So I would like to bring the Stanley Cup to my hometown - Ufa. And I will do everything for this. But first, you need to know the rules. I think they will become known in the coming days."

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that Andrei Vasilevsky, in addition to the second Stanley Cup in his career, received the Conn Smythe Trophy as the best playoff goalkeeper of the National Hockey League.
