Ufa hosted half marathon "ZaBeg.RF" for fourth time

Ufa hosted the ZaBeg.RF half marathon for the fourth time.

More than two thousand residents of Ufa and guests of the city took part in it. They covered one of the selected distances along the central streets of Ufa - 21.1 km, 10 km or 5 km. the organizers prepared a 1-kilometer route for children, which they ran with their parents.

Simultaneously with Ufa, the start of the half marathon was given in 85 more cities.

According to the organizers, over 150 thousand people all over the country take part in the race.

Each participant received a starter pack with a T-shirt and souvenirs from partners, and at the finish line - a medal.

In total, 2039 people took part in the race in Ufa, of which 479 people covered 21 km, 670 people - 10 km, 540 people - 5 km, 350 people ran 1 km.

The first place in the 10 km race went to Nadezhda Berseneva and Alik Sharipov. Ulyana Sharikova and Andrey Safronov were the best in the 21 km race.

Competitions were held within the framework of the "Sport is Way of Life" federal project of the national project "Demography".

For the first time, the ZaBeg.RF half marathon was held on May 21, 2017 simultaneously in 10 cities of the Russian Federation.

Synchronized start is one of the unique features of the All-Russian Half Marathon, which made the project one of the largest sporting events in the country. In 2020, an entry appeared in the main Guinness Book of Records about the "Half Marathon, which united the largest number of cities at the same time."
