HC Salavat Yulaev will again prepare for KHL season in Russia

Salavat Yulaev ice hockey club will prepare for the new KHL season in Russia for the second year in a row. Last summer, a coronavirus pandemic prevented the Bashkir team from going to the Finnish training camp. This time Salavat Yulaev will stay at home for the same reason.

According to the club press service, the team gathering is scheduled for July 12. For two days, residents of Ufa will undergo an in-depth medical examination. Until July 29, the entire training process will take place at the Ufa-Arena.

"On July 30, Salavat Yulaev will play a friendly game in Nizhnekamsk against the local Neftekhimik. From July 31 to August 9, the team will continue training camps in Ufa", the HC Salavat Yulaev representatives inform.

The traditional Cup of the Republic of Bashkortostan starts in the capital on August 10 and will last for three days. The participants are still being determined. On August 18, the Ufa team will go to Kazan for the Gagarin Cup winners' tournament, and on August 28, a friendly match against Metallurg is planned in Ufa.
